How to play
A people-first strategy sim played turn by turn across stardates and eras. Each turn you read the briefing, crew your fleet, pick missions, manage an empire's economy and respond to crises — then advance the clock and watch the simulated outcomes shape your growing story.
- Assign officers to ships and captains to missions; results are simulated from each officer's attributes, so the match matters more than raw firepower.
- Balance resources, worlds, research, trade and politics — there are always more missions than ships, so choose well.
- Respond to crises before their timers expire, and steer events through branching choices.
- Advance through the eras and pursue any of several paths to victory in an open sandbox, or simply keep playing and writing your chronicle.
Controls
- Desktop: entirely mouse-driven. Click the tabs (Briefing, Missions, Fleet, Officers, Worlds, Trade, Research, Politics, Intel, Empire) to manage each area, toggle between card and spreadsheet views, then click End Stardate to take your turn.
- Phone & tablet: fully tap-friendly — every action is an on-screen button, so it plays well on touchscreens with no keyboard required.
Tips & strategy
- Read an officer's assessed attributes before a high-stakes mission; the right specialist swings the odds far more than the strongest ship.
- Don't leave ships idle — un-captained or un-dispatched hulls earn you nothing for the turn.
- Triage crises by their countdown and severity; let a minor one simmer to handle a war that's about to boil over.
- Invest early in research and trade so your economy can sustain a larger fleet across the later eras.
