Race your pawn across the board while building walls to trap your opponent, just don't trust those walls to last.

How to play
Wallquake is a wall-building race for two sides. You and your rival each have a pawn that must reach the opposite edge of the grid first. On your turn you either step your pawn one square or drop a wall segment to lengthen the other side's path. The twist: every few turns a quake destroys a random wall on the board, so the maze you built can collapse at the worst moment.
Each turn, move your pawn one square or place one wall.
Walls block movement but can never completely seal a pawn off from its goal.
Walls are limited, so spend them where they cost your opponent the most steps.
A periodic quake removes a random wall, first pawn to reach the far side wins.
Controls
Desktop (mouse + keyboard recommended): click a highlighted square to move; switch to Wall mode and click near a groove to place a wall. Press R to rotate a wall, and M or W to swap between move and wall modes.
Phone & tablet: tapping squares and wall grooves works, but a mouse and keyboard are recommended because wall placement relies on hover previews.
Game modes
Versus AI: three difficulty levels, Easy, Medium, and Hard.
Online: create an invite link, join with a code, or quick-match against another player.
Tips & strategy
Force detours rather than dead ends, walls that add the most steps beat walls that merely block one square.
Hold a wall in reserve; placing your last one too early leaves you defenseless after a quake.
Count the turns until the next quake before committing to a wall you can't afford to lose.
