Tâb

The board is a 4-by-7 grid traversed in a back-and-forth (boustrophedon) path. You play the blue side against the computer or a friend. Cast the four sticks for a number, then move one of your highlighted pieces, capturing enemies you land on exactly and running pieces off the far end to bank them.

• A 'tâb' (a cast of 1) is what wakes a piece off your home row so it can enter play.
• Casts of 1, 4, or 5 grant an extra cast, letting you chain moves in a single turn.
• Land exactly on an enemy piece to capture it; overshooting misses.

• Desktop: click to cast the sticks, then click one of your highlighted pieces to move it.
• Phone & tablet: tap to cast and tap a piece, touch input is fully supported.

• Hold back a casting of 1 to keep waking fresh pieces and avoid getting stranded.
• Chain the bonus casts (1/4/5) to set up a capture and an escape in one turn.
• Bank vulnerable pieces off the end rather than leaving them parked for capture.
