Race through a fixed sequence of timed levels. Build speed across the floor, leap between walls to climb, and drop a limited cling pad to launch yourself off thin air toward spots a normal jump can't reach. Flip the switch to open the door, then sprint to the exit before the timer expires. Touch a hazard and you respawn with a death added to your tally.
Glidewall revisits the momentum platformer that the web produced in the mid-2000s — spare geometry, a tiny figure, and physics doing most of the work. Metanet's N in 2004 is the best-known of them, though the style had several independent authors.
Momentum is the subject rather than the obstacle. You accelerate along a slope, wall-jump to turn speed into height, and chain the two so that stopping is the mistake. Levels are usually built so the intended route is also the fastest one, which means the game teaches by making the correct solution feel better rather than by blocking the wrong one.
