A two-paddle bounce duel with a twist: your input is thrust, not teleport, so the paddle keeps drifting and you must actively brake it to return the ball.

How to play
Inertia Volley is an arcade paddle-and-ball duel built on momentum. Unlike a normal bat-and-ball game, your paddle has mass: pressing a direction applies acceleration, so it keeps moving and you have to counter-thrust to stop or reverse. The ball speeds up on every hit, and you get one time-slow per rally, trigger it in the centre band to make an impossible return. First to seven points wins.
Thrust your paddle up or down; it drifts under inertia, so brake by thrusting against your motion.
Contact point and paddle motion put angle on the ball, aim your returns.
Trigger time-slow once per rally to slow the ball for a precise hit.
First side to 7 points wins; the ball accelerates with each paddle hit.

Tips & strategy
Start braking before the ball arrives, momentum means you cannot stop on a dime.
Save your time-slow for the fastest rally; the ball gets quicker every exchange.
