How to play
The cube is shown as four stacked 4x4 layers side by side. Players alternate placing their mark in an empty cell. The goal is four of your marks in a straight line anywhere in the cube, there are 76 possible winning lines.
Lines run within a layer, straight up the stack, or along any 3D diagonal.
Once per game you may spend your whole turn to rotate one 4x4 layer 90 degrees.
A rotation shifts every line passing through that layer, use it to break a threat or build your own.
Fill the cube with no four-in-a-row and the game is a draw.
Controls
Desktop: click an empty cell to place; click 'Rotate a layer', then a layer's spin arrow to turn it.
Phone & tablet: tap a cell to place and tap the rotate button then an arrow to spin a layer.
Game modes
Solo vs CPU at Easy, Medium or Hard, playing X or O.
2-player hotseat on one device.
Online via invite, code or quick-match.
Tips & strategy
The space diagonals through the cube's core are the easiest threats to miss, both to make and to block.
Hold your one rotation in reserve; spending it to shatter an opponent's near-complete line is often worth more than a single placement.
