Chinese Checkers
Hop and chain your pegs across the six-pointed star and be first to fill the home point on the far side.
How to play
Each side starts with ten pegs clustered in one point of the star board. The goal is to move every one of your pegs all the way across to the opposite point. On your turn you either step a peg into an adjacent empty hole or jump it over a single neighbouring peg into the empty hole beyond — and jumps can chain into long hops across the board. First side to completely fill the far home point wins.
- Step one peg to a touching empty hole, or hop over an adjacent peg into the space directly beyond it.
- Chain multiple hops in a single turn to race a peg across the board.
- Hops can leap over your own pegs and your opponent's alike; nothing is captured.
- You win by getting all ten pegs into the destination point opposite your start.
Game modes
- Versus AI at Easy, Medium, or Hard, choosing whether you play the top or bottom side.

Controls
- Desktop: click one of your pegs to select it, then click a glowing hole to step or hop there.
- Phone & tablet: tap your peg, then tap a highlighted destination; chained hops light up as you go.
Tips & strategy
- Build ladders — line your pegs up so each one can hop over the next for long chains.
- Move your rearmost pegs first so no straggler gets left behind across the board.
- Use your opponent's pegs as stepping stones for extra-long jumps.
- Keep the destination point fillable; leaving a hole blocked deep inside can strand your final peg.
