Unknown Maze

You enter a grid holding a number — every step changes it or tests it, so the maze is really a puzzle of which path keeps your number working.

How to play

Start at the entrance carrying a number and step onto neighbouring cells to reach the exit. Operation gates (+, −, ×, ÷) change your carried number when you enter — division only works when it divides evenly, otherwise the gate is locked. Condition gates (like 'greater than 10', 'even', or 'multiple of 3') only open if your current number satisfies them. Reach the exit holding a number that meets its required condition, in as few moves as you can.

• Condition gates block the way unless your number passes their test.
• Finish at the exit meeting its condition — fewer moves scores higher.

Game modes

• Daily (seeded): the same maze for everyone, in Easy, Medium, or Hard.
• Practice (random): fresh mazes at your chosen difficulty.

Controls

• Desktop: arrow keys or WASD to move; Undo, Restart and New maze buttons are available.
• Phone & tablet: tap a neighbouring cell to step onto it.

Tips & strategy

• Plan backwards from the exit condition to see what number you need to arrive with.
• Keep your number divisible when a ÷ gate lies on the only viable route ahead.
• Undo freely while scouting — the route that keeps every gate legal is rarely the shortest-looking one.
