Decimal Dive
Add and remove decimal weights to settle your sub on an exact depth, down to the hundredth.
How to play
A target depth is marked on the gauge and your submarine starts elsewhere. Apply weights of 1.0, 0.1 and 0.01 metres up or down to land exactly on the target. A place-value strip splits your current depth into ones, tenths and hundredths so you can see what each move changes.
- Win the moment your depth matches the target precisely.
- On medium and hard, a steady current nudges your depth every move, so you must plan ahead to cancel it.
- Fewer moves and faster times score higher.
- A Reset button returns the sub to its starting depth.
Controls
- Desktop: click the + and − weight buttons, or use keys Q/W/E to add 1.0/0.1/0.01 and A/S/D to subtract.
- Phone & tablet: tap the + and − weight buttons; tap the difficulty and mode selectors.
Game modes
- Easy, Medium and Hard difficulties, each as a Daily seeded dive or endless Practice.
Tips & strategy
- Close the largest gap first with ones, then refine with tenths and hundredths.
- When a current is present, factor in its drift before each move so you do not overshoot.
- Watch the place-value strip rather than the raw number to keep your decimals lined up.
