Beacon Grid

A beacon hides somewhere on the coordinate plane — fire at lattice points and let each compass arrow guide you in until you land dead on it.

How to play

Click a lattice point on the four-quadrant grid to take a shot. The only reply is an eight-way compass arrow pointing toward the hidden beacon — North means higher y, East means higher x — with the distance kept secret. Reason from the directions to triangulate the exact point, then move on to the next beacon in the run. Fewer total shots scores higher.

What you'll learn

Beacon Grid makes the coordinate plane click into place — every shot forces you to read direction from the x- and y-axes and reason across all four quadrants to pin the hidden point.
