Sevens

Anchor each suit on its seven and lay cards up and down the rows to shed your hand first.

How to play

The seven of diamonds opens play. From each seven, suits grow outward in both directions: eight, nine and up, or six, five and down. If you have no legal card to add, you must pass.

• Play a seven to open a new suit row
• Extend a row up (8,9,10...) or down (6,5,4...) in matching suit
• Pass only when you have no legal play
• First to empty their hand wins

Controls

• Desktop: click a highlighted card to play it, or click Pass
• Phone & tablet: tap a card or the Pass button

• Choose 2, 3 or 4 players against the computer
• Daily and Practice deals
• Online: two-player matches

Tips & strategy

• Hold back a seven to stall a suit your rivals need to unload
• Play your extreme cards (aces and kings) early so you are not stuck holding them
• Watch which suits opponents pass on to read what they're missing
