Spider Solitaire
Build descending same-suit runs across ten columns and clear all eight King-to-Ace sequences to win.
How to play
Cards are dealt into ten columns. Move cards onto a card one rank higher to build downward sequences. A group of cards only lifts together if it forms a same-suit run going down. Whenever you complete a full King-to-Ace run in a single suit, it is removed from the table. Clear all eight runs to win.
- Move onto any card one rank higher; suit does not matter to land a single card
- A stack moves as a group only if it is a same-suit run in descending order
- Any card or run may be moved onto an empty column
- Click the stock to deal one card to every column — not allowed while any column is empty
Controls
- Desktop: click a card to pick it up with everything below it, then click the destination column; click the stock to deal a row; Undo reverses moves
- Phone & tablet: tap a card to pick it up, tap the target column to drop, and tap the stock to deal
Game modes
- One suit (easy), two suits (medium), or four suits (hard)
- Daily deal shared by everyone that day, or unlimited New Practice deals
- Unlimited undo to explore lines safely
Tips & strategy
- Keep a column empty when you can — it is the most flexible spot for untangling buried cards
- Build in matching suits early so your runs stay movable instead of getting stranded
- Expose face-down cards before dealing a new row, since a fresh deal can lock cards in place
