Quantum Solitaire
Every face-down card is a haze of possibilities until you commit — and you have to flip before you see what it becomes.
How to play
Quantum Solitaire is a single-player patience game where hidden cards aren't simply unknown — they're in superposition, a live cloud of every card they could still be. Select a face-down tile to read its odds (the chance it's red, the chance it's playable right now), then click again to collapse it into a real card. You commit the flip before the reveal, so each decision is a calculated gamble. Build the tableaus down in alternating colours and the foundations up by suit from Ace to King to win.
- Tableaus build downward in alternating colours; foundations build upward by suit, Ace to King.
- Click a "??" tile once to inspect its probabilities, again to collapse it to a concrete card.
- Move known cards by clicking the source then the destination; double-click to send a card home.
- Draw-one stock, unlimited undo, and an Auto-Finish button that sends every safe known card home.
Controls
- Desktop: click to select and place cards, double-click to send a card to its foundation, and use the Undo, Auto-Finish, Daily and Practice buttons.
- Phone & tablet: tap to select, inspect odds and place cards; a mouse or trackpad is comfortable for the double-click-home shortcut.
Game modes
- Daily: a shared seeded deal everyone plays the same day.
- Practice: endless fresh deals on demand.
Tips & strategy
- Read the odds panel before every commit — a tile with high "playable here-or-home" probability is a far safer flip than a blind gamble.
- Lean on unlimited undo to test a risky collapse, then back out if it sours.
- Hold Auto-Finish until late; sending cards home too early can strip moves you needed for a stuck column.
