How to play

You hold a set of monetary milestones, from early barter through coinage to modern credit. Place the earliest unplaced one onto the timeline; a correct placement extends your chain and unlocks the next era, while a wrong one breaks the chain. Score on chain length, speed and few mistakes.

• A correct placement unlocks the following era; a wrong one breaks the chain
• Use a hint if you're unsure which milestone comes next
• Build the longest chain with the fewest mistakes for a top score

Controls

• Desktop: click a milestone card to place it, click Hint for help
• Phone & tablet: tap milestone cards and the Hint button

Tips & strategy

• When two milestones feel close, reason from cause to effect — coinage precedes paper claims on it
• A hint costs nothing but reveals the next correct card, so use it to protect a long chain
• Easy, Medium and Hard widen the pool and tighten the eras you must distinguish
