Golf Solitaire

Peel the bottom card off each column onto the waste, one rank up or down at a time, and empty all seven before the stock runs dry.

How to play

Seven columns of five cards sit above a stock and a single waste pile. Only the exposed bottom card of each column is in play. Move it to the waste whenever its rank is exactly one above or one below the current waste card — suit never matters. When you are stuck, flip a fresh card from the stock. Clear every column to win the round.

• Build the waste up or down by one rank, in any direction, switching as often as you like.
• Flip the stock for a new waste card when no column card is playable.
• In standard rules, Ace and King are not adjacent, so a run cannot wrap past them.
• Turn on the Wrap option for an easier game where Ace connects both King and Two.
• The round ends when all columns are clear (a win) or the stock empties with no legal move left.

Game modes

• Daily: one shared deal each day that everyone plays for the leaderboard.
• Practice: unlimited fresh shuffles whenever you want to keep playing.
• Unlimited undo lets you back out of any move and rethink your line.

Controls

• Desktop: click the highlighted bottom card of a column to play it, click the stock to flip, and use the Undo button to step back.
• Phone & tablet: tap a glowing column card to send it to the waste and tap the stock pile to draw.

Tips & strategy

• Plan a few cards ahead — clearing the tallest columns early opens up more legal moves later.
• Hold onto stock flips; every card you draw is one you cannot get back, so chain column plays first.
• Try to dig out cards that unlock long up-and-down runs across several columns at once.
• Fewer cards left at the end means a better score, so keep emptying columns even when a win slips away.
