Garden Siege

Collect sun, plant your defenders down five lanes, and stop the advancing horde from reaching the house on the left.

How to play

Enemies push left along five horizontal lanes toward your house. Spend sun to plant defenders: producers that generate more sun, shooters that fire down their lane, and tough blockers that soak up damage. The siege fights back — a flood can drown a lane and block planting, a freeze can stop a lane firing — so react and replant. Survive to the final massive wave to win the level.

• Bank sun by collecting it and planting producers
• Plant shooters, producers and wall-nuts across the five lanes
• Watch for flood and freeze hazards that disable a lane
• Defend the house and outlast the final wave

Controls

• Desktop: click a seed packet, then click a grass cell to plant; click falling or landed sun to collect it
• Phone & tablet: tap a packet, tap a cell to plant, tap sun to collect

Tips & strategy

• Get sun producers down early so you can afford the heavy hitters later
• Stack a blocker in front of your shooters to keep them alive longer
• Keep spare sun ready to replant a lane the moment a flood or freeze clears

Garden Siege recreates the lane-defense game of 2009 — bank sunlight to plant shooters, sunflowers and barriers across five lanes, holding back a shuffling horde before it reaches your door. A perfectly-paced blend of tower defense and comedy that became a phenomenon.
