Fourfold
Four-in-a-row raised into the third dimension — drop balls into a 4x4x4 cube and win by connecting four along any line, including the space diagonals.
How to play
Players take turns dropping balls into the 16 columns of a 4x4x4 cube; each ball settles on top of whatever is already in that column. A line of four of your colour wins — and lines run in far more directions than on a flat board, across levels and through the cube's long diagonals. The added dimension makes threats easy to miss, so you must watch the whole volume.
- Drop a ball into any of the 16 columns to stack it upward.
- Line up four of your colour in a row, column, level line or 3D diagonal to win.
- Track threats across all three dimensions — many lines are hard to spot.
Game modes
- Vs CPU — play the computer at Easy, Medium or Hard.
- Two player — pass-and-play on one device.
- Online — host or join a match against another person.
Controls
- Desktop: click a column to drop your ball; rotate the view to inspect the cube.
- Phone & tablet: tap a column to drop — fully touch playable.
Tips & strategy
- The diagonals through the cube are the easiest wins to overlook — check them every turn.
- Central columns touch the most lines, so contesting the middle pays off.
- Set up double threats on different planes; your opponent can only block one.
About Fourfold
