Fogbound
A disc-flipping strategy duel where the board is wrapped in fog — you can only see the discs that touch your own.
How to play
Fogbound takes the classic reversi flip mechanic and hides most of the board. Place a disc so it brackets a straight line of the opponent's pieces between your new disc and another of yours, and every disc in that line flips to your colour. When the board fills, the colour with the most discs wins.
- Yellow markers show the flanks you can actually see; lines that reach into the dark are unmarked — you have to deduce where the hidden discs sit.
- Enemy discs deep in the fog are invisible, so you must remember earlier moves to plan ahead.
- If you have no legal move your turn is passed automatically.
- One well-aimed move can flip a long line out of the fog and swing the count.
Game modes
- Vs CPU — play against the computer at Easy, Normal or Hard, with the fog hiding the enemy's discs.
- 2-Player — pass-and-play on one device with the full board visible (no fog).
- Online — host an invite, join with a code, or quick-match against another person.
Controls
- Desktop: move the mouse to preview, click a square to place your disc.
- Phone & tablet: tap a square to place. A mouse or larger screen is recommended for reading the fog comfortably.
Tips & strategy
- Track every flip you make — those remembered positions are your only map of what hides in the fog.
- Corners can't be flipped once taken, so they're worth fighting for just as in open-board play.
- A short visible flank often masks a much longer hidden one; probe edges to reveal lines before committing.
About Fogbound
