Drop pairs of coloured blobs, link four or more of a colour to pop them, and stack chain reactions that rain garbage onto your opponent.

How to play

Pairs of blobs fall into your well. Position and rotate each pair so four or more of the same colour touch — they pop, and anything above collapses down. A single drop that triggers several pops in a row is a chain, and bigger chains dump junk blobs on your rival.

• Connect four or more same-coloured blobs to pop them
• Plan stacks so one pop sets off the next for a chain
• Bury your opponent's well or outlast them to win

Game modes

• Endless (solo) — survive and build the longest chains
• Vs CPU — Easy, Medium or Hard
• 2-Player Hot-seat — share the keyboard locally
• Online — play against another person

Controls

• Desktop: ← → or A / D move, rotate the pair, ↓ / S soft drop, Space hard drop; hot-seat P2 uses the same keys on alternating pieces
• Phone & tablet: keyboard recommended for this fast falling-piece game

Tips & strategy

• Stage colours in a staircase so a single trigger cascades into a big chain
• Hold a pop back until you can extend it one more link
• Against the CPU, time your chain to land garbage when their well is already high

Origins

Blobline revisits the falling-blob puzzle of 1991 — drop pairs of colored blobs and connect four to pop them, building long chains that dump garbage on your rival. Its head-to-head chaining made it a competitive-puzzle staple.
