Backwards Bakery

Take a finished pastry and walk it backwards, undoing each baking step until only the raw ingredients remain.

How to play

You start with a finished baked good and a target raw state. Apply inverse operations to undo the baking process one step at a time, reversing mixes, folds and bakes until the dough matches the target. Fewer steps score higher, so aim for par.

• Each operation reverses one baking step
• Match the raw target state to solve the puzzle
• Step back with undo whenever a move goes wrong
• Solve at or under par for the best score

Controls

• Desktop: click the inverse-operation buttons and the undo button
• Phone & tablet: tap the operation buttons

Game modes

• Daily and Practice, each across Easy, Medium and Hard
• Difficulty feeds the daily seed for a separate puzzle per level

Tips & strategy

• Read the target first and plan the sequence backwards from the finished good
• Think about which operations commute and which must happen in a strict order
• Undo freely to test a chain of reversals before committing to par
