The number-merge puzzle reborn in 3D, shift a 3x3x3 cube six ways and fuse triples into powers of three.

How to play

Instead of a flat grid you slide a 3x3x3 cube in any of six directions, up, down, left, right, in or out. When three tiles of the same value line up they fuse into the next power of three: three 3s become a 9, three 9s become a 27, and on up. Cascades can chain across axes. Rotate the cube to see through it and plan your merges.

Food for Thought
  1. Is 3927 harder than 2048?

A state-space showdown between a flat grid of twos and a cube built entirely out of threes.

  2. Luck, Skill, and the Clock

Every shift that changes the cube drops a new random 3 into it. So every run is part craft, part weather, and the leaderboard settles ties by who finished fastest.

  3. A Perfect Strategy?

Two merge games, one question: can either be played flawlessly? The answer runs through the corner of a board, an opponent who never arrives, and a number seventeen exponents tall.

  4. Reading a 3-D Number Stack

3927's hardest problem was never its rules. It was letting a human read twenty-seven numbers arranged in depth, including the one they can't see.

  5. Why Threes

The hidden efficiency of base three, and whether a game built on it is quietly the more elegant machine.
