Calcudoku
Sudoku's numbers meet arithmetic cages — fill the grid 1 to N and make every outlined cage hit its target.
How to play
Fill an N×N grid so each row and column contains the numbers 1 to N with no repeats. The grid is divided into outlined cages, each showing a target and an operation; the cells in a cage must combine with that operation to reach the target.
- Use 1–N once per row and once per column
- Make each cage's cells reach its target via its operation
- Single-cell cages simply equal their printed number
- Combine the Latin-square and cage rules to deduce each cell
Controls
- Desktop: click a cell and type a digit, or use the on-screen number pad
- Phone & tablet: tap a cell, then tap a number on the pad
Game modes
- Difficulty: easy, medium and hard grids
- Daily puzzle plus an endless practice mode
Tips & strategy
- Solve single-cell cages first — they're free givens
- For subtraction and division cages, list the small set of possible pairs
- Cross-check cage candidates against the row and column rule to eliminate options
