Crate Sweeper

Shove numbered crates across a hidden minefield and read their shifting counts to pin down every mine.

How to play

Move your character to push crates around the grid. Each crate displays how many mines sit in the eight cells around it, so sliding a crate to a new spot gives you a fresh reading. Cross-reference the numbers to deduce exactly where the mines are buried.

• Push crates to sample mine counts from different positions
• Flag every cell you've deduced holds a mine
• Win by flagging all mines with no false flags
• Step on a mine and the run ends

Controls

• Desktop: arrow keys or WASD to move and push; click an adjacent cell to step; right-click to flag
• Phone & tablet: tap to move and long-press (about 0.4s) to flag

Game modes

• Daily seeded puzzle and Practice
• Three board sizes: 5x5, 6x6 and 7x7 with more mines

Tips & strategy

• Move a crate to a spot where its count overlaps a known region to isolate one cell
• Use the undo button freely to test how pushes change the readings
• Every board is solvable by pure deduction, so never guess if you can prove a mine
