There's no solid ground out here, just a river of current and a flotilla of rafts you nudge with the wind.
Wind Hop is a real-time river-crossing arcade game where you never actually walk. Instead you puff a gust of wind in one of four directions, sliding every raft on the water, and yourself along with them. Ride the drifting rafts upward row by row and reach the green goal strip at the top to win. Step off into open water for even a moment and you drown.
The crossing problem is Frogger's river half — a flotilla of drifting platforms and no safe ground between them.
What is original is the control. You do not hop from raft to raft directly; you nudge the rafts with the wind and arrange the crossing.
That inverts the genre's timing. Frogger is about waiting for a gap and committing; this is about making the gap, which turns a reflex game into a slower problem of setting up a route several moves before you take it.
Wind Hop is an original free browser arcade game that flips the classic lane-crossing hop on its head, instead of safe tiles between hazards, the entire world drifts and you steer it with the wind. No download or sign-up required.
