Twin Words
Hop from a word to its sound-alike twin and back again, weaving a path through the grid.
How to play
The board is filled with words, each of which has a homophone partner somewhere on it. Tap a word, then tap its twin to link them, building a chain that alternates between matching sound-alikes until the grid is cleared.
- Tap a word, then tap its homophone partner to pair them
- Keep linking twins to extend your path
- Clear the matched pairs to open up the grid
- Finish the board for the best score
Controls
- Desktop: click a word then click its partner
- Phone & tablet: tap a word then tap its twin
Game modes
- Daily: one shared seeded board, ranked globally
- Practice: fresh grids each round across Easy, Medium and Hard
Tips & strategy
- Scan for the obvious pairs first to thin the board and reveal new connections
- Say each word aloud in your head — twins match by sound, not by spelling
- Plan a couple of links ahead so you don't strand a word without its partner
