Ape Grammar
A sentence appears with a part of speech demanded — tap the right word before your energy runs dry.
How to play
Each round shows a sentence and asks for one part of speech — noun, then adverb, then preposition, and so on. Click the word in the sentence that fits the request. An energy bar drains in real time and tops up a little with each correct pick, so speed and accuracy keep you alive. The pace quickens as you go.
- Read the requested part of speech, then click the matching word.
- Correct picks refill some energy; wrong ones cost you.
- The demands speed up and the difficulty ramps as you climb.
- When the energy bar empties, the run ends.
Controls
- Desktop: click the word in the sentence that matches the requested part of speech.
- Phone & tablet: tap the matching word. Mouse or touch only — no typing.
Game modes
- Daily seeded run or endless Practice.
Tips & strategy
- Scan for function words first — prepositions and pronouns are quick to spot.
- Do not overthink nouns and verbs; trust the obvious subject or action.
- Keep a rhythm of correct picks so the energy bar never gets close to empty.
