Run-on sentences fall — split each one at the seam between its two clauses before they stack to the top.
How to play
Run-on sentences drop down the canvas. Pick a punctuation mark — a period, a semicolon, or a comma plus conjunction — then click the gap between the two words where the independent clauses join. A correct mark at the correct join clears the sentence. A wrong attempt costs points, and if any sentence piles up to the top, the run ends.
- Find the seam where two independent clauses meet.
- Choose a fitting mark: period, semicolon or comma-and.
- Click the gap to split the sentence and clear it.
- Keep the stack from reaching the top to stay alive.
Controls
- Desktop: click a punctuation mark to select it, then click the gap between two words.
- Phone & tablet: tap a mark, then tap the gap where the clauses join.
Game modes
- Daily seeded run or endless Practice.
Tips & strategy
- Look for the point where one complete thought ends and another begins — that is the join.
- A semicolon or period both fix most run-ons; the comma needs the right conjunction to follow.
- Clear the lowest sentence first when several are falling at once.
