Tug-of-Grid

A blob well split by a center divider — clear chains on both sides to keep it balanced.

How to play

Colored blob pairs fall into a well that is split down the middle. Link four or more of the same color to pop them and trigger collapsing chains. But every clear tugs the central divider toward the side you cleared — let it slide to either edge, or stack a column to the top, and the run ends.

• Match four or more same-colored blobs to clear them; gravity collapses the rest into fresh chains.
• Clearing on one side pushes the divider that way — work both halves to keep it near center.
• A centered divider pays a bigger per-clear bonus; a lopsided one risks a loss.
• You lose by tipping the divider to an edge or overflowing a column at the top.

Controls

• Desktop: ← / → move the pair, ↑ or X rotate, Z rotate the other way, ↓ soft drop, Space hard drop.
• Phone & tablet: keyboard recommended — this game is played with the keyboard.

Game modes

• Daily: one seeded sequence of pairs everyone shares that day.
• Practice: an endless random well to chase your best score and longest chain.

Tips & strategy

• Build a setup on one side, but pre-stage a counter-clear on the other to snap the divider back.
• Use the landing ghost to place rotated pairs precisely against existing colors.
• Bank chains for when the divider is centered to cash in the highest balance bonus.
