Shelf Order
Books drop down a chute one at a time, and you have to file each one into its correct call-number spot on the shelf before the cart piles up.
How to play
A book falls down the chute showing its call number. Click the gap on the shelf where it belongs in numerical order. Mis-file it or let it land and it joins the backlog cart; fill the cart and the run ends.
- Read the falling book's call number and find its correct gap
- Click the right gap to shelve it in proper order
- Wrong placements and dropped books pile into the return cart
- Click the cart to retry the oldest backlogged book
Game modes
- Daily: a fixed sequence of books shared each day
- Practice: a fresh randomized run
Controls
- Desktop: click a gap on the shelf to file the book; click the cart to retry a backlogged one
- Phone & tablet: tap a gap to shelve and tap the cart to retry (mouse or touch only)
Tips & strategy
- Scan the shelf's existing spines first so you can place the next book before it falls too far
- Clear the cart during quiet moments — letting it near capacity leaves no room for error
