Saccade
A glowing pacer hops across each line of text, and you tap in time with its beat so your eyes learn to read in fewer, wider jumps.
How to play
A passage is laid out line by line, with each line split into fixation chunks. The pacer lands on one chunk per beat; tap on the beat to keep your focus meter charged and read the whole passage before it drains.
- Tap exactly when the pacer reaches each chunk to register an on-beat fixation
- On-beat taps sustain focus; mistimed taps or backtracking drain it
- Harder settings use fewer chunks per line, forcing bigger eye-jumps
- Run out of focus and the passage ends early
Game modes
- Difficulty: Easy, Medium and Hard set how many fixations per line
- Daily: a shared passage each day
- Practice: fresh randomized passages on demand
Controls
- Desktop: press Space, click the page, or click the TAP button on each beat
- Phone & tablet: tap the canvas or the TAP button in time with the pacer
Tips & strategy
- Trust the rhythm and let your eyes move with the pacer rather than reading every word individually
- Build a long combo by settling into a steady tap cadence — chasing missed beats only drains focus faster
