Rooftop Run

You're always running — the only thing you control is the jump, so time your leaps across a skyline of crumbling rooftops and chase distance.

How to play

Your runner sprints automatically across the rooftops. Each building ends in a gap, and roofs give way beneath you, so the single decision is when and how long to jump. Hold the button longer to leap higher and farther. Miss a gap and the run is over — distance is your score.

• Hold the jump to leap higher and clear wider gaps

• Daily — a shared seeded skyline everyone runs that day
• Practice — endless rooftops to refine your timing

Controls

• Desktop: Space, Up or W to jump (hold for a higher jump), or click
• Phone & tablet: tap and hold to jump

Tips & strategy

• Read the next gap's width before you commit to the jump height
• Tap for short hops on close ledges; hold only for the big gaps
• On collapsing roofs, jump before the tile crumbles, not after

Origins

Rooftop Run draws on the one-button endless runner of 2009 — auto-sprint across collapsing rooftops, holding to leap the gaps, in an ever-accelerating dash where distance is the only score. It helped launch the whole endless-runner genre.
