Aim the launcher, drop a ball, and watch it carom through a field of pegs, clear all the orange ones to beat each board.
Each board is studded with pegs, some of them orange. Aim the launcher and release a ball; it bounces unpredictably off every peg it strikes, lighting them up as it goes. Your goal is to hit all the orange pegs across your supply of balls.
Ricochet Garden recreates Peggle, released by PopCap in 2007, which is essentially pachinko with a scoring layer and almost no control.
You aim and release a ball, and after that physics owns it. Only the orange pegs must be cleared, the blue ones are scenery worth points, and because a single lucky bounce can clear a dozen, the gap between a good shot and a good outcome is wide and deliberate. The design's real insight is how it handles the end: the last orange peg triggers slow motion and a swelling piece of Beethoven, rewarding you extravagantly for something you only partly did.
