Reverse Detective
You did it — now you have one minute to doctor the scene and a grilling to survive, lying consistently enough to walk free.
How to play
This is a deduction puzzle in reverse: instead of solving the crime, you committed it. During a 60-second tamper phase you rearrange the room to bury the evidence. When the detective arrives, every object you touched becomes a question — answer to match the scene you left, and keep your suspicion meter low until the verdict.
- Move, hide, swap, wipe, toggle or plant the objects in the room to build your cover story.
- Whatever you change becomes a fact you must defend in questioning.
- Answer the detective's multiple-choice questions consistently with the scene.
- Contradict yourself and suspicion climbs; stay consistent to be cleared.
Controls
- Desktop: click to select an object, drag to move it, click a verb on the ring to alter it, click to answer questions.
- Phone & tablet: tap and drag with your finger and tap answers — pointer controls work on touchscreens.
Game modes
- Daily Challenge: the same case and questions for everyone that day, with its own ranking.
- Free play: a fresh randomized case whenever you want another run.
Tips & strategy
- Plan your story before you tamper — a tidy lie is easier to defend than a frantic one.
- Don't over-edit; every altered object is one more detail the detective can probe.
- Track which questions follow up on each other and keep your answers in lockstep.
