How to play
Flip through the 52-card deck once during the memorize phase, then place every card back into its correct position from memory. Your score rewards how many slots you nail and how fast you rebuild.
Memorize: step through each card and lock its rank and suit into memory
Harder settings shorten the memorize timer before recall begins
Recall: tap a slot, then tap the card you believe belongs there
Submit to see exactly which positions you got right or wrong

Origins
Memorising a shuffled 52-card deck in one pass and rebuilding it is a core discipline of memory sport, alongside random digits and names and faces.
Scoring on both accuracy and speed of the rebuild is the original emphasis.
Nobody does this by remembering cards. Competitors convert each card, or each group of cards, into an image and place those images along a route — so this is the method of loci and a coding system like the major system applied together, under time pressure, which is why it is the event that shows whether the techniques were ever really learned.
