Percent Heist

A security gate quietly passes a fixed percentage of items sharing one secret trait — watch what gets through and crack the rule.

How to play

Each round shows a batch of items, some passed by the gate (bright) and some blocked (dimmed). Work out which single trait — a shape or a colour — decides who gets through, and what percentage of those items the gate lets pass. Submit the correct trait and percent to clear the round; finish all rounds to score. Peeking at the pass-count table helps, but each peek trims your score.

• Passed items are bright; blocked items are dimmed.
• Exactly one trait (a shape or colour) governs the gate.
• Name both the deciding trait and the pass percentage to win the round.
• Use Peek to see pass counts per trait — sparingly, since it costs score.

Game modes

• Daily: the same puzzle set for everyone, in Easy, Medium, or Hard.
• Practice: fresh random rounds at your chosen difficulty.

Controls

• Desktop: click to choose the trait and percent, then Submit; Peek opens the pass table.
• Phone & tablet: tap the trait, tap the percent, and tap Submit — Peek shows the counts.

Tips & strategy

• Find the trait first: the deciding one passes a consistent share while others look random.
• Count passed versus total for your candidate trait to read the percentage straight off.
• Trust the proportions before peeking — a confident submit beats a score-draining peek.
