Peak Order
Drop each landform into its correct spot in the ranking — tallest, longest or deepest — without slipping.
How to play
Features arrive one at a time — mountains by height, rivers by length, lakes by depth. Drop each into the gap where it belongs in the running order. A wrong placement costs you, so judge the magnitude before you commit.
- Read the current feature and the measure being ranked
- Click the gap where it fits in the order
- Build the list from biggest to smallest (or as the round asks)
- Place every feature correctly to clear the round
Controls
- Desktop: click the gap in the ranking where the feature belongs
- Phone & tablet: tap the gap to drop the feature there
Game modes
- Daily: one shared seeded ranking ranked globally
- Practice: fresh feature sets each round across difficulty levels
Tips & strategy
- Anchor on a few landmarks you know — the tallest peak or longest river — and place others relative to them
- When unsure, bracket the feature between two you've already placed correctly
- Don't guess wildly; one misplacement can ripple through the rest of the order
What you'll learn
Peak Order is about ranking the world's mountains, rivers and lakes by their measurements, building a sense of scale.
- Skills: physical geography, comparing measurements, world features, estimation
- Best for: roughly grades 4–9 (ages 9–15)
