One-Way Town
Every building is forever, so a greedy early placement can scar your whole town's score.
How to play
Fill an 8x8 grid with buildings from a fixed queue to earn the highest average happiness. No demolitions, no undo.
- Each tile scores from its neighbours — houses dislike factories, parks lift their surroundings
- Placement is permanent, so think two pieces ahead
- Your final grade runs from S down to F
Controls
- Desktop: hover a lot to preview the happiness change, then click to place
- Phone & tablet: taps work to place buildings; a mouse makes the hover preview easier
Game modes
- Daily: a seeded building queue for everyone
- Practice: a random queue
Tips & strategy
- Reserve quiet corners for factories so they don't poison housing
- Cluster homes around parks for compounding bonuses
- Read the upcoming queue before locking in a placement
