Oddity
Find the item that breaks the pattern — but don't stop at seeing it; you have to pin down exactly which rule it violates, and subtler breaks score more.
How to play
A board of shapes varies by colour, fill, form and a hidden numeric value. One or more of them break a rule the others all follow. Select an item, then tag which rule it breaks from the list. Correct calls reveal the rule; tag every broken rule to finish the round. The more obscure the rule, the bigger the payoff.
- Pick the item you think is the odd one out
- Tag the specific rule it breaks — not just that it's different
- Subtler rules are worth more points
- Clear every rule the board hides to complete the round
Controls
- Desktop: click an item, then click a rule button to tag it.
- Phone & tablet: tap to select and tap a rule — touch supported.
Game modes
- Daily: one shared seeded board, difficulty set by the date
- Practice: fresh boards to drill
Tips & strategy
- Scan one attribute at a time — colour, then fill, then shape, then count the pips
- If everything looks consistent, look harder at the hidden value; the sneakiest oddities are numeric
- Go for the harder rules first while the board is fresh in your mind for the score multiplier
