Devour only the words obeying the current spelling rule while it flips and the hunters chase.

How to play
The board is filled with words and a spelling rule sits at the top, long-A sounds, silent-E endings, a particular digraph, and so on. Move around eating only the words that fit. The rule flips mid-chase, and hunters track you the whole time, so reading and dodging happen together.
Eat words that match the active spelling rule to score.
Eating a non-matching word costs you.
Watch the warning, because the rule flips during play.
Avoid the hunters, getting caught ends the run.
Controls
Desktop: move with Arrow keys or WASD; eat with Space or by stepping onto a word.
Phone & tablet: tap a cell to move toward it and eat the word there.
Game modes
Daily seeded board or endless Practice, at Easy, Normal or Hard.
Tips & strategy
Say each word in your head, the spelling pattern is easier to hear than to see.
Carve a loop through clusters of matching words so the hunters cannot corner you.
When the rule is about to flip, position near words that fit both the old and new pattern.
