Forge words by clicking an onset onto a rime, drafting fresh blends as you climb the levels.

How to play

At the start of each level you draft a consonant blend into your toolkit, then forge every target word by snapping an onset tile to a rime tile. A correct pairing lights up the target. Some words stay locked until you have drafted the blend they need. Clear all the targets to advance.

• Pick an onset, then a rime, to build a target word.
• Draft blends such as sh, th or str to unlock the words that use them.
• Light up every target on a level to move on.
• Clearing levels quickly and accurately scores higher.

Controls

• Desktop: click an onset tile then a rime tile to forge a word.
• Phone & tablet: tap an onset then a rime.

Game modes

• Daily seeded set or endless Practice, at Easy, Medium or Hard.

Tips & strategy

• Sound the onset and rime aloud together — if it makes a real word, it will forge.
• Draft the blend that unlocks the most locked targets first.
• Scan the remaining rimes to see which onsets you still need.
