• Read the gross income, deductions, taxable income, marginal tax, and credits as they total up.
• Click the one document whose amount doesn't add up; a wrong pick costs you and you keep hunting.
• Drag the marginal-bracket slider, or hit the raise button, to see how only the income inside each band is taxed at its rate.
• Use a Hint if you're stuck (it costs score). Score rewards catching the mismatch fast with few wrong guesses and hints.
