Open Sign
Capitalise a new shop with a loan or your savings, then run it week by week — pricing, marketing and cash flow — and survive the rival who's about to open nearby.
How to play
First decide how to fund the shop: a loan gives more runway but owes interest, while savings keep you debt-free on a thin cushion. Then each week you set your price and marketing spend, run the week, and watch the balance sheet — cash, equipment, loan and equity. A rival opens around a known week and starts splitting your market, so build a cushion before they arrive. Stay solvent to the end with the highest net worth.
- Choose loan or savings funding to start
- Set price and weekly marketing, then run the week
- Track the balance sheet — equity is your net worth and score
- Survive the rival's arrival without going insolvent
Controls
- Desktop: click a funding option, type price and marketing values, then Run the week.
- Phone & tablet: tap funding and the inputs, then Run the week — touch friendly.
Game modes
- Daily: one shared seeded neighbourhood per day
- Practice: fresh scenarios to replay
Tips & strategy
- Use the customer projection to set a price that fills the shop without giving away margin
- Bank profit before the rival's week — once they split your market, every week gets tighter
- Marketing has diminishing returns; spend enough to fill seats, not to chase every last customer
