How to play

You're given a tray of ancient inventions and a grid whose axes are time periods and civilizations. Drop each invention into the cell where its era and its maker both match. Get every placement right on both axes, then check and score the round.

• One axis is when the invention appeared, the other is who made it
• An invention is only correct when both axis matches are right
• Solve the whole grid to complete the round

Controls

• Desktop: click an invention in the tray, then click its grid cell
• Phone & tablet: tap to select an invention and tap the cell — touch-friendly

Game modes

• Difficulty: Easy, Medium or Hard
• Daily shared puzzle or endless Practice

Tips & strategy

• Place the inventions you're sure of first to constrain the rest
• If you know the maker but not the date, lock the column and reason about the row
• Use Check to confirm, but aim to solve in one pass for the best time
