Cool Down
Defuse a heated conflict by choosing the calming strategy that fits it — but each move goes on cooldown after use, so big arguments need a smart sequence.
How to play
A conflict scene comes with a tension meter and a wheel of calming strategies. Apply the move that best suits the situation to lower tension; used moves recharge before you can pick them again. Bring tension to zero to resolve the conflict and read its takeaway lesson.
- Choose a calming strategy to ease the tension meter
- Each strategy fits some conflicts better than others
- After use, a move goes on cooldown — heated scenes need a sequence
- Daily sets one fixed conflict; New/Practice rolls fresh ones
Controls
- Desktop: click a strategy on the wheel to apply it
- Phone & tablet: tap a strategy to apply it
Tips & strategy
- Match the move to the scene — the wrong strategy wastes a turn and a cooldown
- Save your most effective moves for when tension spikes highest
- Asking a trusted adult for help is a smart, valid choice for the big stuff
