Brushlines

Identify an art movement from a tightly cropped pattern that you can zoom out for more clues, then test your timeline by sorting movements through history.

How to play

In Identify mode a representative swatch starts heavily cropped and you guess the movement from five choices — the tighter the crop, the more points. In Timeline mode you order movements earliest to latest.

• Identify: spend points to zoom out one step at a time, revealing traits and era, then pick the movement.
• Timeline: drag or use the arrow buttons to sort the movements chronologically, then check.
• Each correct adjacent pair scores in Timeline; a perfect order earns a bonus.
• Guess early in Identify for the highest reward.

Controls

• Desktop: click Zoom out and choices; drag or use the up/down buttons in Timeline; pick mode and Daily/Practice.
• Phone & tablet: tap choices and the reorder arrows — touch-friendly (drag also works).

Game modes

• Identify and Timeline, each in Daily (shared seed) or Practice (random).

Tips & strategy

• In Identify, commit at the tightest crop you're confident about — every zoom-out costs points.
• In Timeline, anchor the movements you know for certain first, then slot the uncertain ones between them.
