Swaprise

The stack keeps rising — slide your two-wide cursor to swap blocks, line up three of a colour to clear them, and hold the tower below the ceiling.

How to play

A wall of coloured blocks creeps upward from the bottom. Move a two-wide cursor over any pair and swap them sideways to arrange matches; three or more of one colour in a line clear and the blocks above drop down. Chains earn meter you can spend to lift a column. Let the stack reach the top and the game ends.

• Swap two side-by-side blocks to build matches of three or more

Game modes

• Endless — survive a steadily rising board solo
• Vs CPU — match against the computer at varying difficulty

Controls

• Desktop: WASD or Arrows move the cursor, Space or J swaps, F lifts a column, Shift raises the stack; hot-seat P2 uses I/K/H/L, Enter and Right-Shift
• Phone & tablet: keyboard recommended for this fast match puzzle

Tips & strategy

• Set up a clear lower down so falling blocks trigger a chain above
• Bank combo meter for an emergency column lift when the top gets close
• Work across the whole width — a tall single column is hard to recover

Swaprise revisits the rising-stack puzzle of the mid-1990s — slide a cursor to swap blocks in a wall that creeps ever upward, matching three to clear and setting up falling chains, solo or head-to-head. A beloved, more thoughtful match-three.
