Redact

Slam black bars over the noise and carve a hidden sentence out of a classified document.

How to play

You are handed a wordy classified document and a short target sentence. Click words to slam a black bar over them; the un-redacted words form a live preview. When the remaining text reads exactly like the target, the document is declassified.

• Redact only the filler words — every needed word must survive untouched.
• Par is the minimum number of deletions; wasted redactions cost you score.
• Click a redacted word again to restore it, or use Restore All to start the page over.
• A Hint blacks out one extra filler for you, at a score cost.

Controls

• Desktop: click a word to redact or restore it; use the New, Restore All and Hint buttons.
• Phone & tablet: tap a word to toggle its black bar — same one-touch flow.

Game modes

• Daily: one shared seeded document everyone gets that day.
• Practice: an endless stream of fresh documents.
• Difficulty: Easy, Medium and Hard change document length and how much noise hides the sentence.

Tips & strategy

• Read the target first, then scan the document for the matching words in order before you redact anything.
• Watch the live preview — if a needed word vanishes, restore it immediately rather than pressing on.
• Chase par: every extra deletion beyond the minimum bleeds points, so plan the whole page before clicking.
