A grid of numbers hides a picture, paint the right cells so every clue matches the filled count around it, and the image emerges.

How to play
Mosaic is a pure-logic paint-by-deduction puzzle. Every numbered cell is a clue telling you exactly how many cells in its surrounding 3×3 block (the clue cell included) must be painted. Satisfy every clue at once and the board resolves into a hidden picture.
Work outward from the most constrained clues. A 0 means none of its nine cells are painted; a 9 means all of them are. Use those certainties to chip away at the numbers in between.
Paint cells black so each clue equals the number of filled cells in its 3×3 area.
Mark cells you know stay empty so you don't re-test them.
A clue glows green when its area is exactly satisfied and red when too many cells are painted.
Finish every clue to reveal the picture and stop the timer.
Controls
Desktop: left-click paints a cell black (click again to clear); right-click marks a cell as definitely empty.
Phone & tablet: tap to paint a cell; a mouse is handy for the right-click 'empty' marks, best played on a desktop or laptop.
Game modes
Daily, everyone gets the same seeded puzzle each day to compare times.
Practice, fresh random puzzles on demand.
Three sizes: Easy, Medium, and Hard, with the larger grids holding more clues.
Tips & strategy
Start at the edges and corners, those clues cover fewer cells, so they pin down certainties fast.
A 0 lets you mark all nine surrounding cells empty instantly; a 9 lets you paint them all.
When two overlapping clues differ by one, the difference tells you the exact state of the cells they don't share.
Solve faster to keep your score high, the clock subtracts points over time.
