Minesweeper Duel

The classic logic sweep becomes a duel — you each hide traps, then take turns daring the grid.

How to play

Secretly place traps, then alternate revealing cells on the shared minefield. The last player with lives remaining wins; if both survive, the most safe cells revealed takes it.

• Adjacency numbers tell you how many mines touch a cell
• Hitting an opponent's trap costs more lives than a neutral mine
• Flag cells to track your deductions

Controls

• Desktop: left-click to reveal a cell, right-click to flag
• Phone & tablet: tap to reveal, long-press for the flag menu

• Versus computer — Easy, Medium, or Hard
• Two-player hotseat on one device
• Online multiplayer
• Daily seeded board or random
