Heir Idle
There is no reset button: you age in real time, you die, and your heir carries on with only part of what you built — so every generation has to claw back the gap.
How to play
Buy estate upgrades to raise gold per year while your heir ages toward death. The estate passes on in full, but gold only carries over by your heir's Legacy trait — so you breed for better traits and push the lineage past the Legacy goal.
- Time runs on its own: roughly one year every fraction of a second.
- Each upgrade adds permanent production; the estate survives every death.
- When your heir dies, a handoff card shows what gold was inherited and what was lost.
- Traits like Legacy, Vitality, Diligence and Fortune shift between generations — grow them to compound faster.
Game modes
- Daily: a seeded lineage everyone shares for the day.
- Practice: a fresh random lineage to experiment with.
Controls
- Desktop: click an estate upgrade to buy it.
- Phone & tablet: tap upgrades — the loop runs itself, you just invest.
Tips & strategy
- Prioritise Legacy so more gold survives each death instead of evaporating.
- Stack cheap early upgrades before a death so the next heir starts ahead.
- Vitality lengthens a lifespan — more years means more compounding before the handoff.
About Heir Idle
